Today I am beyond excited to sit down with the powerful storyteller and influential C-suite Executive, Dr Elmie Castleman PhD (CPD), MPhil (HPE) Cum Laude, Regional Director Southern Africa – Golden Key International Honour Society. She holds over 36 years of senior leadership roles within Civil Service, Academic, Tribal Community Development and Tertiary institutions as an accomplished NPO Leader, Traditional Council GCOO, Management Consultant, Government Executive and Tertiary Medical Trainer.
Dr Castleman is a well-travelled international speaker and thought leader and a Corporate Governance expert, who has reinvigorated the Southern African NPO by focusing on operational turnaround, value engineering and business stakeholder reinvigoration.
I have recently crossed paths with the extraordinary Elmie and I call her my kindred soul sister. Our connection has allowed me to experience a different perspective on diversity and inclusion.
I believe as humanity we still have so much to unpack around Diversity, Inclusion and Interdependence and in our conversation, Elmie breaks the mould and passionately shares a glimpse of her life journey growing up in the apartheid era in our country.
